Another one unknown RK holder, it's certainly not Werner Goeritz maybe Julius von Bernuth?

Hi, Bernd

Page 173:
- In my opinion, the general is August Schmidt (Generalleutnant und Eichenlaubträger, 1892-1975).
- I do not who is the Ritterkreuzträger, but the fellow is greeting to the General der Panzertruppe Leo Freiherr GEYR von SCHWEPPENBURG.

Page 174:

- GenRKT is the Generalleutnant Hans Graf von SPONECK.

Page 175:

- 9 is the Generaloberst Gotthard HEINRICI.

Cheers,

Gregg

Hello, Bernd,

On Page 230, you request an id of 401px_jpg. That is Albert Graf von der Goltz. I thought this had been identified.

Hope this helps.

Take care.

Many thanks Gregg, Terry and Nick ! :D Done this.
Yes, Gotthard Heinrici ; it was in a series of redone pics/requests. The original and better version and the one placed on the index : http://forum.axishistory.com/viewtopic. ... 0#p1135090

Placed on the index, too. This is the second id for August Schmidt. Suggested were Frhr von Seckendorff, then Bleyer, then A. Schmidt.
August Schmidt, OL

For comparisn the other Schmidt pic in the thread. Difficult.
August Schmidt, OL, IR 20 10.PGD

Do you guys over in the "Requ" have another pic of him for further confirmation ?
I will have a look and I'm curious myself if I have pics of Schmidt in my personal data base.

This one is strange. Clip_3.jpg (again) - not Franz Doff !?
With Schweppenburg we are in the WEST. That would rule out Doff (GJR 98), too.

Now I was going through all the pages of this thread again I can state that this id (Doff) would have been the only mistake ever of the ingenious HERBERT . R.I.P. good man. Watching us ? Let's try this id for him.

Best regards
Bernd
