The Officer of Bake is definitely not Ullrich , Ullrich also didn't have a DK.

Thanks again Terry and Gregg ! All done, the new Fromm and Schack :D are on the index as well.

Gregg, 100% d'accord now with Fromm. It's like often - you say it, I see it..
To have it clear finally (and I think I caused irritation with the Flak group pic) the last about the "Fromm/Gürke case".
Walter Fromm
Ernst Gürke
and Flak-Rgt. 43 North Africa RKT : Christian Gellert - Ernst Gürke - Otto Bösel

It is the Spanienkreuz Fromm is wearing. I now realized that I have four Fromm pics in my data base ; unfortunately I can't convert them into .jpg at the moment (only the bad "paint" version). Two autographs included - and one is nearly identical to the pic linked above. Gregg, and all, who is interested in them, no problem to send them per e-mail (send me a PM then).

Best regards
Bernd

Bernd,

I think you are right  . Frequently, a pic can cause you a terrible headache, but this is not the case. Left to right (100% sure): Gellert, Gürke (note the Spange zum EKI II. Klasse on his ribbon bar, please) and Bösel.

Cheers,

Gregg.

Bernd,

A few corrections:

1) Page 87: the man next to Freiherr von BROICH is Generalleutnant der Luftwaffe Gotthard FRANTZ
2) The general of this pic is Generalleunant Hartwig von LUDWIGER (not TRAUT).
