Re: Knight's Cross Holders Identification
Anybody know this RK-Träger from the book "PanzerWrecks 7" ?
It (according to the caption) shows the surrender of Pz.Rgt. 29 of 12. Pz.Div. after the war's end in Courland.
This officer in another picture arrived standing in an Pz IV, but obviously was not Panzerwaffe, maybe an Kampfgruppen-Führer from the Panzergrenadiere ?

Still open for discussion are the 4.. turret numbers, maybe the II./PR 29 was inofficially renamed I./PR 29 because the I. Abteilung obviously was not about to return to the Division !?

I still don't believe it is somebody of 12.PD....he does not look familiar with any RKT/DKiGT of this Division I have in mind....and even Mr.Archer and his helpful advisors are perfect
