Сertainly this is the great and important beginning which help make our forum better, but my opinion "Megamonster" thread it's inconvenient and hard to use. Can be better to divide them on two "sticky": "Old style" Knight's Cross Holders ID and the new Biggest Photo Database of RK holders? What do you think, Bernd and all?

Best wishes

Ruslan

Well, ok, we could do that. Other comments and votes ?

In any case I want to use and built on the existing database. The result of years. This is the big asset to start with. Otherwise there is nothing "big", we start from zero ! You can't divide this "living organism" here. So, the index should be transfered to the new database, or linked to at least. I don't like a "twin / parallel" solution. A database is one place, not two. I see a number of organisational issues ahead. And double work. Everything you do on 7.000+ RKT is "megamonster" by nature. I would like to stay in this "living object" here.

Count this as 1 vote, kind regards,
Bernd :)

I agree with Bernd
it should be one database (the biggest in the world) for all RKT photos
its easier to handle and starts with a hell of existing picures.

I was wondering why both officers were I guess stripped of their medals , Yet the one was allowed to keep his knights cross :|

See thread page 314

This is in fact Waldemar Felgenhauer who liked to wear on his Fliegerbluse bullion badges (see the Frontflugspange and the Pilot Badge in cloth version)

See page 310

The whole picture (from eBay) is interesting because there are a lot of known people on it

See below

I would say:
1- Rudolf Henne
2- E Hinrichs - (see below)
3- W Börnschein
4- J Schölss
5- S Barth
6- H Unrau

Waiting for members' opinions

KR

it's not Ernst Hinrichs, but Klaus Nöske

Sorry but this is not Heinz Ewald. I think this is rather Otto Debus
