Hello everybody
Could this be a 24cm H 39, the companion Howitzer to the 21cm K 39?

Hello Dimitris

The Skoda's 21 cm M 18/19(t) , k.21 cm M (t) , 21 cm M 1939 , 21 cm K. 39 , 21 cm K. 39/40 , 21 cm K. 39/41, 21 cm K. 52 , 24 cm H. 39 , 24 cm H. 39/40 and the s. 24 cm K. (t) are very confusing and in many books and internetsite's wrongly labeled . I realy don't know if the the photo that you have placed is a 24 cm H. 39 .

Regards Jos

Could this one also be a 24 cm H.39? The barrel looks shorter than for the 21 cm K Series.

Thank you, ludvig. Based on your description, the carriage described as belonging to a 21 cm K39 in the following link would actually be the one of a 24 cm H39:

Alos thanks to ludvig who corrected me in the 21 cm Skoda post  , here is another picture from ebay.de of a 24 cm H39:

Hi all,

A low-quality image of an 24cm Skoda H39 in position in Russia. Does anyone have a better quality reproduction of this photo?

Inboard barrel is probably the H-39 while the outboard one seems too long, so could be from a 21cm K-39.
