But I have never seen Altrichter wear Model/Lindemann/Hansen type goggles.

That's right. For the risk of over-generalization, schnelltruppen generals liked wearing them as massed vehicle movement would kick up a lot of dust.

The second general posted by Ruslan on page 262 I believe it´s Gen.Lt. Otto DRESCHER.
If so, the ID I did as LAUX is not correct , since he doesn´t fit well in the scene that it might have been taken place after April 1944 when DRESCHER was awarded the RK. Still the resemblance with LAUX is remarkable IMHO.
Cheers.

Definitely Drescher! Congrats, Esteban! Interesting who this RK holder with him, I think one of regimental commanders, and none RK with 267 I.D.. Definitely not Bleckwenn (487 I.R off), commanders of 467, 497 I.R. and 267 A.R are available.

No one from IR 497. Not Bleckwenn (IR 487), not Brod (IR 467), not Heinrich (AR 267). Not much success with 131. ID either as this could have been taken with the same Meyer-Buerdorf pic owner -- 131. ID and 267. ID were both still under HrGr Mitte, despite with 267. ID under AOK 9 and 131. ID under bother AOKs but AOK 9.

The general posted by mansteinpearl on page 263 and identified as OSSWALD, I believe it´s Gen.Lt. Ernst RICHTER instead.

Cheers.

Richter would indeed be a serious contender as his nose was a better fit than Oßwald's. Oßwald was a tiny man. But so was Richter. I didn't relaize until I checked.

Trying to identify persons from old files I came across this two pictures that show the same people.
Still I have been unable to identify the general. I hope that some other researcher be.

You are 100% right!
I had been stuck with the idea that this general was a "young " one and overlooked that PRIESS was in his forties when these pictures were taken.
Thank you!
