Help Id artillery
Re: Help Id artillery
Hi Clive,
Many thanks for your answer!
Do you think then that the leGebIG 18 is the gebergsjager version?
Best regards,
Nezar

I think you are right. There are not many photos around of the Canon de 76 FRC. The 7.5 cm lGeb IG 18 should have a square topped jacket over the barrel, the gun in the photo has a round one.

Many thanks to you both Clive and Nuyt! Your help is greatly appreciated.
Would I be right to assume that in respect of the second photo I posted the soldiers are German?

Nezar

I think they are Germans. They do not appear to be French and the type of wheel on the gun was only found on French guns and those captured from them by the Germans. The gunner nearest to the camera has a German style gas mask case. He has short boots with his trousers tucked into gaiters, a later war version of the German uniform copied from the British (he is not in British uniform). They all seem to be wearing M43 field caps.

Re: Help Id artillery
Hi all,
I found this image on Ebay. I think 75mm Krupp M1904 (7-veld) dutch gun but I am not sure.
It seems that the wheels have solid rubber tires.
If this is so, Does somebody know if all these guns were modernized with these wheels?

Re: Help Id artillery
Hello,
could someone id this gun for me?
The photo was taken in Budapest, February 1945.
It doesn't look like Hungarian, German or Soviet built gun, so I'm a little stuck.
Thanks

Re: Help Id artillery
Hi Adam
It is a Soviet 107mm gun M1910/30, used by the Germans as 10.7 cm K 352(r).
