Hi Bill, hi Kerry, hi ilfil,
thank You very much for posting and sharing these great pics. So I want to contribute to this new thread with two pics of Skoda trucks: 1. Skoda type 6 ST 6 L or 6 T; 2. Skoda type H or HD (source of the pics: expired ebay auctions). I hope these pics are not posted before.

Hi All:
Thanks for your encouragement and participation. I am still refiling materiel but will put up something every day I hope.
For this post, a Mercedes G-5 presented to the President of Czechoslovakia either by Hitler himself or
Göring. Also a Praga RN as a tanker, rather rare I think.

Re: Czechoslovakian soft skin transport vehicles 1930-1945
I will now jump into a vehicle area I know very little about but I do have photos of them.
All during the 1930's, Praga made a large series of tracked soft skin vehicles. They were also trialed for a number of other countries and were adopted by some. What I have found so far range from the Praga T3 through the Praga T9. There is also pictured rather often a "TH" variant that I have not sorted out yet.
Here, a couple photos of the T3.

The IV model. It does not seem to have been called a T4.

The T5 model. Seems to have been a prototype perhaps.

The T6.
I am posting not only Czech but also Peruvian and Turkish variants as they will get lost in the Forum if I try to
post them elsewhere.

The T8 version.
This is what I found on the net. It looks the same as the T7 to my eyes. Comments are welcome.

Hi Bill,
wow, really great, the tractors of Praga.
To the pic You posted with the Skoda command car type 952: I think we can see in the background prototypes of the Raupenschlepper Ost built by Skoda, but were not built past the prototype stage.
Best regards
Bert

Re: Czechoslovakian soft skin transport vehicles 1930-1945
Hi Bert:
I believe the correct name for the vehicles you are talking about is "Radschlepper Ost" which is the variant with wheels. 100 examples built from what I could find.
The "Raupenschlepper Ost" is the tracked variant which was developed along with the wheeled version for use in Russia.

Hi Bil,
excuse me, please, for my mistake! And thanks a lot for the correction. Yesterday night, when I was writing and posting it, it was very late and so I was not concentrated enough.
Best regards

Hi Bill,
following Your explanations the tractors on the three pics are Praga T 9 (T IX) (source of the pics: "Militärfahrzeuge der Wehrmacht" by Kurt Rieger and Uwe Feist). But I have some problems to distinguish the type T 7 (T VII) and the type T 8 (T VIII). So I need You help.
