Hi mate-everytime I saw this and filed it away as possibly no2 Hans Georg Schmidt von Altenstadt???
and thought no 1 looked like Gustav Fehn with the monocle but nose is different.
Also no1 appears to be Pz colours and Schmidt served with XIV. Pz.-Korps also he did serve on the Italian Front.

I think officer #2 is Obstlt Hans Jandl who was aide-de-camp of the german attaché in Rome during summer 1943.

I own a pic of him but it is provided by chris44 and I would not like to post it without his permission.

If you look onto the second of your pics you can see a Jäger-badge on his right arm. that´s a very distinctive hint because Jandl was Ia of 5. Jägerdivision before he became aide-de-camp in Rome.
