Maxwell Tayler, commander 101 Airborne Division. Interestingly enough although he was an airborne general, he only made 3 parchute Jumps In his career. One practice jump in England prior to D day and his next two, Normandy and Holland, both combat jumps.

This is the first time that I see the colour pic of Maurice Rose.

By the way, who is the colonel at right from the 3rd Armored Division in 1944/45?
