Thank you for this information.

I found:

Norbert Sinner 06.04.1907 in Leudelange executed 09.11.1945 in Luxembourg
Marcel Sirres 29.11.1918 in ??? sentenced to death 17.03.1948 executed 24.06.1948

Do you have the same information about the other men?

Can anyone confirm if this Herbert Dietrich also served in SD/SIPO in Haarlem, Holland 1940/1941 ? If anyone can confirm further sources of information on this man I'd be interested to hear. Thanks for checking.

This is from a similar report:
SS-Ustuf KK Dietrich; came from BdS Norway to Luxemberg and assigned to Einsatzkommando Luxemburg, Feb-June 1944; June 1944 returned to BdS Oslo, Abt IV, for a short time; July-Aug 1944, with BdS Den Haag, Leiter IV.
Sept 1944, said to have returned to Stapo Trier.
described as 34 years old; slender build; blond hair; married, no children; speaks French; Trier accent
source: US NARA, RG 498 Box 21: Berlin DIC, Consolidated Interrogation Report BDIC/CIR/7 dated 16 Oct 1945 – “Sipo and SD Aussendienststelle Liege”

I have not seen a photo of him.

Thanks for the information.

I could be chasing my tail here. The Herbert Dietrich (I have a couple of photo albums from), was (in Orpo) Czechoslovakia 1938, Poland 1939, Haarlem Holland 1940/1941 (working at 'Der Beauftragte Reichskommissars Für Provinz Noord Holland' pictured with the likes of Seyss-Inquart), SS in Biaritz/Lourdes South France 1943/1944. His photographed rank goes up to SS-Sturmscharführer & there are foreign workers photos included and seem to be some SIPO/SD too. He looks approx early thirties and hair light brown (not blond). I believe originally from Schwarzheide.

I should not get too hung up by the hearsay in the report you quoted and the one I did.
Part of the answer lays with his Kriminalkommissar-Lehrgang at Sipo-Führerschule Berlin-Charlottenburg in 1942. The usual career path was a return to his Heimatdienststelle, in his case Stapostelle Trier, after a successful KK-prüfung. A short time later (sometimes six months later) the new KK zur Probe was posted to another station to obtain a broader experience. In Dietrich's case, it looks like he was posted to Norway. During this posting assuming he provided satisfactory service he was promoted to KK. Sometime later he would be posted again and in late 1944 with the Allies advancing to Luxembourg he was probably back at Stapo Trier. Some speculation there but it is based on what happened to other new KKs.

Sentenced to death were also a guy called Spierckel (I have no more information about him), the translator for the Gestapo in Clermont-Ferrand (France) Léon Bisenius, the police commander of Mamer Antoine Hillebrand, who wasn't executed, because he was sick. The 3 Germans sentenced to death were Adolf Raderschall, President of the Special Court (in absentia), Fritz Hartmann, chief of the Gestapo & Herbert Dietrich. These sentences were later commuted. Fritz Hartmann was the last German garbage to leave a Luxembourg prison.

danyb, did you notice in my post that Dietrich with no first name had a Trier accent?
I have 28 persons with last name Dietrich connected to the Sipo and SD, so possibly two Dietrich's in Norway.
