Women on the photo are Lyudmila Trosk (left) and Nina Slonova (right). Both were snipers in the 647 Rifle Regiment/216 Rifle Division.

I suppose, the photo was taken somewhere in North Taurida in February 1944. Trosk was killed soon thereafter on 1 March 1944.
