Well, the firing table M. Krogfus kindly posted indeed lists:

V0= 950m/s (Pzgr)

---
That makes it somehow probable. Although they give the correct weight for Pzgr.43, the V0 is given with Pzgr., not with Pzgr43.

For some reason for the 128mm FlaK 44 the Pzgr. muzzle velocity is less than the Pzgr. 43 MV (860 m/ vs 880 m/s).
(Though they seem to have changed it from 850 to 860.)
The KE calculation doesn't work here.

It also lists new gun velocity (größte V0): 895m/s and Schußtafelmäßige V0= 860 m/s (firing table reference velocity, typically representing a 10/30 worn gun).

Pages from Firing Table H.Dv. 119/419. Note that the round is Pzgr 43.

Was the 12.8cm Pak ever actually used in combat? I don't mean the shonky 81/1 or 81/2s, I mean the specific krupp or rhinemetall designed Pak version. I've Never seen images of any in the field.

Interesting data sheets. Where did you find those? What is the overall document called?

I don't have the link anymore but it was a Panther website. Individual sheets if you look for data.

Does anyone have any idea how much the penetration/ballistic caps on the 12.8cm PzGr. (43) weigh?
The PzGr. 43 got quite heavy compared to the early PzGr., not only because of the added windshield but also they seem to have increased the penetration cap thickness.

Fun fact: the anti-armour performance of this gun was lackluster (yes, I said "lackluster") for it's caliber because it's AP shell was relatively light (W/D^3 = 13,5 kg/dm^3) due to a very large cavity for explosive filler drilled inside it. The same penetration performance could've been achieved with a 115mm gun shooting a 24.0kg capped solid shot at the same velocity with a result of having less recoil to deal with and more room for ammunition inside AFV.
