Well for what it's worth, one of the original S Bahn signs is preserved near the current U Bahn entrance, possibly the same one in the period photo (photo 3):

I might especially want to see an overlay or guide of where Turk's King Tiger remained in connection to the present Potsdamer Platz. I have later (i.e. 2011) photographs of Potsdamer Platz if that makes the activity less demanding Dafont 123Movies FileHippo .

Also, there are overlays earlier in this thread that show the probable location of the tank. I did my own overlay before I visited - it is here - all of these overlays show the tank in approximately the same place ... hard to say absolutely exactly where it was, but I think these are all pretty close.
