I found 2 pics ostensibly of Wittke in my files, but they are clearly not the same man. Perhaps someone can clarify which is the real Wittke.

I recall that the second picture was posted long ago in a web page whose administrator was one of Wittke's descendants (there were also pictures of him as a young officer and even one from his – apparently last – holidays in the summer of 1955). But, unfortunately, I can't find the page now. So, in my opinion Wittke is in the last pic.

I’m not definitely sure if it is him, but given that he commanded the 170. Infanterie-Division and my great grandfather served in it and made this photograph it might be him. It looks like a Christmas party in winter 1939 or 1940 because the man in the picture is still a Generalmajor.
