Re: Italian AA Guns
I like the photo with the train in it. The guns on the lorries are captured 20mm Breda 20/65mod 35 mounted on South African assembled Ford 3 tonners with South African bodies. The locomotive is a London Midland and Scottish Railway Stanier 8F 2-8-0, the two tank wagons are 1927 Railway Clearing House 14 ton design (British wagons) and the two flat cars no idea but I think could be local Egyptian ones.
Sorry I cannot remember my source of this photo.Clive

Re: Italian AA Guns
Thanks, fert.
Here another Cannone da 102-35. The barrel and recoil mechanisms are the same but the pedestal mounting have many differences.
Any idea about the designation of the mounting ??
From Wikipedia:
Schneider Mod. 1914: affusto singolo a piedistallo, con manovra a sinistra dell'otturatore semi-automatico
Schneider-Ansaldo Mod.1914 (S.A): affusto singolo a piedistallo, con manovra a destra dell'otturatore semi-automatico; equipaggiava il sommergibile "Santarosa"
Schneider-Ansaldo-Vickers Mod.1914-1915 (S.A.V) : affusto a perno centrale, con elevazione aumentata a 80°
Vickers-Terni Mod.1915: affusto a piattaforma utilizzato durante la seconda guerra mondiale in funzione antiaerea; utilizzato sul T.A. 102/1/T e sull'avviso "Diana"

Re: Italian AA Guns
Hello,
doesn't look a 76/45, could be a 75/46 prototype, know as 75/45.

Maybe the army send the gun to ask Ansaldo to build something better.
