Thank you, George! This makes perfect sense, since there's a photo of him with the Grand Mufti in Neuhammer - during the Pz.Jg.Abt. inspection.

Cheers,
Ivan

Hello, Huska

First of all this is a thread about Bosnian SS Officers and not ordinary soldiers.
Please start a new one if you want to discuss that topic.

The only thing I know is that Adem Okanadžić was decorated for his actions during the Mutiny in Villefranche on 17 September 1943.

Additional: *Luftija Dizdarević (not Didzarević) was one of the lesser known ring leader of the Mutiny in Villefranche.

It's not a Bosnian but an officer in the Handschar. I'm speaking about Karl Josef Fischer - he was a doctor in Auschwitz and was transferred to Handschar on 1 January 1944. Does anybody have more information about his service in the Handschar?
Cheers,
