Does anyone recognise the car in George's last post on November 9th?
Thanks,

It somewhat resembles a 1940 Skoda Superb... but not quite.

Hi Markus,
I think that's it. It seemed much lower to the ground, but that's no doubt due to those guys sitting on the fender.
Cheers,
Max

Thank you Markus.
Perhaps the original rear lights were lost to the fitting of the woodburner and replaced with the small one visible? This is a 1939 Chevrolet, but it may help with illustrating my thinking.
Cheers,
Kerry.

Apparently yes. Although the original Russian gas-generator trucks on this chassis have had another designations (ZiS-13, -21 and -41), no doubt this one was converted by its new owners, the system is typical German (Imbert IMHO, but could be also Zeissl). So it is converted ZiS-5.
I like the improvised front bumper. Or this is spare fuel? :? Looks like wooden rod.
Cheers!

Hi Victor,

thank You very much for posting this interesting pic. But excuse me, please, I cannot agree with You. I think that it isn´t a Büssing-NAG, because this vehicle has a right hand drive and there are other differences. For me it is an Italian OM type Taurus. Here apic of such a truck.

Best regards

Bert
