There is a wooden plank on the side of the cab.
Looks like a board of planks. Probably somebody inside didn't like wind. Or bullets?

Hi Leo,
Indeed, they look like sand bags but in fact these are integral part of the bogie. You can check pictures of 7TP tank on which C7P is based, also of Vickers E 6-ton tank (7TP id Polish license-built version).
HTH
Cheers!
Thank you for your answer.
Do you have any idea as to what purpose these bags served?

Hi Leo,

A close-up photo of a Vickers 6-Ton Tank or Vickers Mark E with the "bag" in the bogie:

Hi Leo,
I guess the bogies were designed with these "bags" to add weight to the first and the last pair of road wheels which were most critical in front/back movement.
Just my guess.
Cheers!

Hi Sturm,
I believe it is a variant of the Deutz F2M or F3M (2 or 3 cyl) Stahlschlepper with a soft top I haven't seen before and cast wheel disc weights.

Can someone provide information on this apparently unsuccessful Steyr RSO troop transport semi-trailer prototype? Thanks.

Hi Max,
According to Werner Oswald only one or two were produced. The trailer tracked part was driven also. Only these two pictures are known (so far), both taken during tests in August 1943.
Cheers!
