But I do know 3 (now 4 including you) people/places where to find them. Each source comes with it's own time and cost structure.
Not sure if you include mine, but time & cost are straightforward: cost I charge is nil and time is just how long it takes you to download what I send.
MarkN wrote:I mean, how long did it take you to download, rename and sort all those pages? I hope he understands the effort and appreciates it.
Well, it doesn't really matter, because it's a sunk cost. And it's not because it took me time that it should take time to others too.

That said, I do have the right software to make a big part of the effort automatic :)

The only question is only one...
Why that site have loaded thousands folders, only to place a big watermark on every document??????? Why don't choose to create a payment system right from the start of project??????? It's time to renominate that site: bigwatermarkinrussia.
This 12493 folder is not available on the site. I would like to thank Mori, Jeff Leach and John Calvin (with a mixing quality of docs) to be availables to send us, documents about WW2 subject. Undoubtely a valuable efforts

A lot more have been posted, yes. I believe many were circulating for half a year or so.

They still have some to share, like 12452 (Luftwaffe), 12453 (KM) and 12477 (Divisions).

Hi Kay,

I believe this is the official catalog of Bestand 500.
It appears around 30 Findbücher have yet to be uploaded.
Cheers,
Sean

Jan-Hendrik

You made my day!

I own a Turmflak 123 SB
Gerhard Friedrich SB.jpg

Going through Akte 103 in the "Flakkorps und Divisionen" folder I found this:
Gerhard Friedrich SB - Verlustmeldung.jpg
This confirms the phrase "Information not shared is lost"
Keep up the good work and thanks again!

search, 'Kreigstagebuch' on Ebay.de and tell me what you think

example: 20 Panzer Division
is there an online version of this particular KTB? Because my search was not successful and I didn't come across it on sturmpanzer, archive, etc. which often have digitized archive material.

Check the NARA catalog and give us the roll number, we will be able to tell. Quite some documents from 20 Pz-Div are available.

thank you!

well, it seems to be part of this huge series consisting of 2379 rolls: https://catalog.archives.gov/id/1200442 ... lKLus.link

Unless I missed something, I am not sure I can't pinpoint a roll with the available data given :(

the finding aid notes , so I guess it is No. 41 or No. 45.

Finding Aid Note:
The following Guides to German Records Microfilmed at Alexandria, Virginia serve as finding aids to this microfilm, designated National Archives Microfilm Publication T315 "Records of German Field Commands: Divisions:" No. 41 Records of German Field Commands: Divisions (Part I); No. 45 Records of German Field Commands: Divisions (Part II); No. 63. Records of German Field Commands: Divisions (Part III) (Divisions 1-9 (Supplementary), 10 - 21); No. 64 Records of German Field Commands: Divisions (Part IV) (Divisions 22-57); No. 65 Records of German Field Commands: Divisions (Part V) (Divisions 58 - 96); No. 66 Records of German Field Commands: Divisions (Part VI) (Divisions 97 - 114); No. 67 Records of German Field Commands: Divisions (116th-137th), Part VII; No. 68. Records of German Field Commands: Divisions (141st-187th), Part VIII; No. 69. Records of German Field Commands: Divisions (189th-218th), Part IX; No. 70. Records of German Field Commands: Divisions (221st-255th), Part X; No. 71. Records of German Field Commands: Divisions (256th-291st), Part XI; No. 72. Records of German Field Commands: Divisions (292d-327th), Part XII; No. 73. Records of German Field Commands: Divisions (328th-369th), Part XIII; No. 74. Records of German Field Commands: Divisions (370th-710th), Part XIV; and No. 76. Records of German Field Commands: Divisions, Part XV.

I should note, I would be happy with just one - not necessarily the 20th - Panzer Division (or even Infantry) KTB, although a Heeres unit that served from 1939 to 1945, would be excellent.
