Identify Berlin building
Identify Berlin building
A friend has sent me some (excellent) photos of his time in Berlin in 1969. There are a number of Third Reich sites which I can identify but this one has me stumped. It's labeled "Farming Agriculture Building c. 1969" and it clearly has an agricultural motif with the (headless) eagle holding a plough. However, AFAIK the Agricultural Ministry was at Wilhelmstrasse 72 and this building is not it. Anyone have any thoughts on this?

Wow! That was quick! Thanks, Max: that may well narrow the field! BTW, what's on the other side?

Are you sure that this building is in Berlin and not in the east [Poznan?]

Re: Identify Berlin building
Not sure at all, Max. The bloke who sent it to me was in Berlin in 1969 and this came captioned Farming Agricultural Building C. 1969. I had the same thought but couldn't find a photo of the building in Posen(Poznan). I have suggested that it may be the Berlin liaison office with Gau Wartheland but that's only a guess. If we knew the address we could use period maps. Thanks for your help!
