I am collecting all the objects of Erwin Rommel as medals, weapons, batons of command , ... and wanted to know if Rommel had an dog tag and if there is any photo. I found a photo of his identification plate in the "Gold Coast War Museum" but I don't know if it's an exact replica: https://www.flickr.com/photos/aussie...rts/8475931898
According to the data of the Soldbuch of Rommel its identificative plate could be like the one of the photo:
Gen.Feldm:Generalfeldmarschall
FHQu 1: Führerhauptquartier nº1
0:blood group

Yes I know, but in your soldbuch it says so. I think I would have several badges according to the campaigns in which it was but I do not know.
If anyone has any idea or photo of the tags but I searched the Internet and found nothing
