Teeth skull RZM M1 /24
Teeth skull RZM M1 /24
Hello,
I would be grateful to get various opinions on the next piece, digging, everything that is seen is correct, but the doubt arises regarding the smooth back, without dentition. As seen in several forums in this piece model there were both, with and without teeth, but I'm not sure about it.
( M1/24 zinc )

According to the opinion of several collectors is authentic, the form is the right one
the material, obviously has been polished on its front.
What are the points on which you rely to say that it is not original?
Thank

I never saw an Ovendorff 1/24 example like this, and less put it on a visor cap
An original, polish and teeth retouched ? I still distrust
You ask for opinions, and here is mine.
As moderator John G. said many times ; "I don't want it in my collection"...

The scam is big in the world of skulls sellers
Deschler and Ovendorff are the skulls more imitated, followed by the aggressive skull Zimmermann, in the third row

* Depth parietal and deph jaw is not according to a M1/24 Overdorff model ( It resembles more to a M1/52 Deschler )
These changes could not be produced by the passage of time, when was buried ( supposedly ) on the ground

I must disagree completely and attach the photo that shows, that black that is not depth, is dirt because it was not cleaned there, the piece is practically flat in the parietal bone and its union to the skull. (This piece was brusquely cleaned on his forehead that did not remove the original patina in that part)
Re: Teeth skull RZM M1 /24
What you see is not depth, it is darker skid because of inadequate partial cleansing.

Well Malik, wait for better opinions.
I don't try to convice you of nothing.

Of course, it is not a matter of conviction, it can always be an apprenticeship for everyone.
I have been told that the supposed defect was the cavity, which it does not have, it is not cleaned.
Re: Teeth skull RZM M1 /24
Here the comparison with a non-excavating piece, the suture matches perfectly.
Re: Teeth skull RZM M1 /24
The piece in question has already been evaluated and its authenticity confirmed.
