Email me and I will send one.

Your website is about infographics. Have you seen this: https://www.amazon.fr/Infographie-Secon ... 095&sr=8-1
thx! No, that one I don't know. Only in French and I think Dutch (pre-order), available.

At last! It's been on their site, but hidden, for more than a year.

12452 mostly includes:
- 1939 Poland campaign
- Einzelnachrichten des Ic Dienstes West / Ost [which, as far as I know, were not microfilmed by the US administration]
- daily OdL Lagebericht [most of this series being available under T77 R914-R927 in the NARA rolls]
- Luftwaffe in Rumania (entries 478-520)

There is nothing or almost nothing about operational units in the 1940-1945 period.

If you're into KStN, you will like entries 269/270

Hello to everybody,
from a first quick view in Findbuch 12452 I found two files about KStN (A 269 and 270) but no Gliedrung or KStN list about the overall organization of the Luftwaffe. The KStN are mostly of technik support units and Flak units, no on flying combat units and fallschirmjager.
Has anybody found anything about these organizational issues?

Max

correction, it is reloaded. It was taken off for quite some time, and now it's on again.

How is it that the Russians managed to capture documents of formations that were solely on the West Front ? Was there another archive of documents other than the Potsdam archive ?

thanks,

Hello Tom,

in my opinion:
a) I think this were copies which remaind with the units,
b) some documents may have been overseen (f.e. wrong title) in the large administrational mechanism,
c) units moved from west to east and documents were captured soon after arrival,
d) large amount of documents in original german administrational area with main supply, repair, etc. focus and some maybe smaller archives which were not destroyed in time.

Regards

Darius

I agree on that, I saw quite many documents with stamps of certain units / formation on top of them.

Is there some mechanism to purchase high quality scans for some pages ? The resolution on some pages is inadequate.

thanks,

I was looking through Findbuch 12474 (Korps) and I noticed that Akte 624 seems to be missing. I know further material for 47th Pz Korps exists as I have the original Russian translations from 10 years ago (a few pages at least). Was this pulled, or is there any mention of this ?
