Hi Truelove, hi Markus,
of course, You are right, Markus, the Flakmeßtruppkraftwagen (Kfz. 415) on the chassis of the Büssing-NAG had a military soft top, but not the standard cab type. The same with the SP 37mm AA gun carrier on this pic (source of the pic: an expired ebay auction).
Best regards
Bert

Re: Vehicle identity requests
Goodnight
I found this photograph of combats in Budapest, in December 1944. It is about several groups of soldiers that will surely be posted in defensive positions. An ambulance vehicle appears, and in front of a vehicle, which, being partially hidden, does not look good. I think it's a Kubelwagen ?, or is it a Gaz 69, or 67?

Mgm makes a few different versions, all are the same with different beds or box bodies. Also what he is calling a 550 zug, correct shorter wheel base, but again, awd and parts to convert the open cab to what i think is the late wood cab.
Thanks for any opinions or facts.
John
Very interesting. I haven't seen this variant before so I'm afraid I won't be of further help.
Many of us would be interested to see your model when it is completed (or in progress) on the Model Building board. From what I recall resin kits can be quite challenging, which is probably why I avoided them in my day, although you can find some rare birds among them.
Cheers,

Re: Vehicle identity requests
I agree with Rich it is ex-Russian jeep but with some modifications: basic rear mudguards are fitted to the simple cutouts of the original, apparently to provide additional protection from the splashing mud, and the wheels (the only one visible at least) are of GAZ-64/-67/BA-20/-64 type. They definitely weren't borrowed from GAZ-69 which is postwar model.

Cheers!

Re: Vehicle identity requests
Hi, does someone know the name of this vehicle? It is used ti transport the German delegation to surrender ceremony at Rheims on 7 May 1945.
