Nine German Generals and a Russian General who had defected to the Wehrmacht, surrender to the American forces at Bad Aibling in Germany, during World War II, 11th May 1945. From left to right, Air Force Lieutenant-General Kopelins, Russian Major-General Gobalinzow, Lieutenant-General Gundell, Major-General Hans-Georg von Seidel (1891 - 1955), SS Lieutenant-General Karl Fischer von Treuenfeld (1885 - 1946), General Rennibann, General Müller, General Michelmann, General Zeiss and General Mantell. (Photo by Horace Abrahams/Keystone/Hulton Archive/Getty Images)
I couldn't found the name of Generalleutnant [Luftwaffe] Kopelins.
The correct name of the Generalleutnant der Waffen-SS is Karl von Treuenfeld [NOT Fischer von Treuenfeld !!]]

Of course there was no "surrender" at Bad Aibling on 11 May. Obviously, this group of generals had been collected in Oberbayern during the last weeks and was now presented to the photographers, probably in the new PoW camp on Fliegerhorst Mietraching. Bad Aibling had been occupied on 1 May.

The ROA general is Alexander V. Golubintsev (1882-1963).

What is the fake Mantel wearing to the left of his EK I and KVK I? To the right is the Reiterabzeichen.

It appears to be the Deutsches Sportabzeichen.

Those Müllers were in the Generalskartei (officers who retired earlier should not have been in Aibling):

Angelo Müller (in Sweden)
Dietrich von Müller (in Soviet captivity)
Erich Müller (in Soviet captivity)
Ernst Mueller (P2-Fall, in FR since August 1944)
Eugen Müller (in Flensburg)
Friedrich-Wilhelm Müller (in Schleswig-Holstein)
Gerhard Friedrich Müller (in FR since December 1944)
Gerhard Paul Müller (zuletzt Kdt. Trüpl. Wischau)
Hans-Ludwig Müller (in Soviet captivity)
Ludwig Müller (in Soviet captivity)
Vincenz Müller (in Soviet captivity)
Manfred Müller-Arlès (in FR since mid-April, zuletzt Kdt. Nürnberg-Fürth)
Claus Mueller-Bülow (in Soviet captivity)
Erich Müller-Derichsweiler (zuletzt Division Nr. 177)
Philipp Müller-Gebhard (zuletzt Kdt. Vert. Ber. Prag)
Burkhart Müller-Hillebrand (surrendered as Manteuffel's Chef in the North)

The Oberst with the General is Friedrich-Wilhelm Müller, later General der Inf.
