Re: Axis Non-Armored Vehicles quiz
I don't know how Japanese topics interest this board, but I try.
What is this car? Imported this car encouraged the development of Type 93 6-Wheeled Passenger Car.

Re: Axis Non-Armored Vehicles quiz
Hi Taki,
Very interesting question. I believe the Type 93 was based on the Hudson Special. Six of these were built for the Japanese Government in 1932.

Re: Axis Non-Armored Vehicles quiz
Hi Rich,
I don't think so. It's difficult from this angle but please take another shot.
It's interesting working two questions at once, but why not?
Cheers,
Max

Max,
You know well. Yes, it is Hudson Special. Note that they are different in fender at spare tire. There seem variations in six Hudson Specials.

Re: Axis Non-Armored Vehicles quiz
Hello Taki,
Domo arigato. From my understanding these were intended for use in Manchukuo. Despite having six wheels this car was just 2 wheel drive.

Re: Axis Non-Armored Vehicles quiz
As there is no response, I write an answer.
It is snowmobile model 5F of Nihon Nainenki. Nihon Nainenki is known as the manufacturer of Type 95 Passenger Car "Kurogane", but it also made some special vehicles like snowmobile, swamp vehicle etc.

Re: Axis Non-Armored Vehicles quiz
Correct. IJA imported two copies in 1923. Note a sled on the side. It was attached to front wheel on the snow.
