And my own Sipo/SD listing of 30,000 pages is all in Word, every entry sourced,
Which is a paradigm change vs. John Moore's. And way better, naturally.

"Mori" - You are attempting to compare apples and oranges as the saying goes. I did not object to the "shortcomings" that you believe you identified because it is pointless to argue with you and I will not waste any more of my time on this matter.

You can ask me, for example. I will share what I have. It's all free, I don't have a "business model" and I am not monetizing archives.

A meme directed from one forum member to another, suggesting that the latter is "stupid", was deleted by this moderator.

Let's keep the tone respectful, please.

I am only interested in A3343 files so why not stick up a list, akin to the one you made 8 June 2016 of T series?
I have a number of A3343 mf rolls and don't want to waste resources.
You may not have monetizing in mind but I certainly do.
40 years of irregular archival visits across Europe and the USA costs money and it doesn't come back from book royalties.

@steve248: I did not put a list together yet, but the thread maintained by 'smetanin albert' gives a fair idea what's available. I can send a screenshot of what I have: email me.

If sticking to financial metrics, I don't think there can be any "return on investments" on the time and cost it takes to go collect documents. (My hourly rate is such that the opportunity cost of spending a few days at national archives can never be recovered through book sales; this might be different if you are not part of the active workforce). Therefore I dropped such consideration a long time ago.

Hi John P. Moore,

You write, "I did not object to the "shortcomings" that you believe you identified because it is pointless to argue with you and I will not waste any more of my time on this matter."

Are we to assume that your reluctance to engage on the subject means that the alleged shortcomings identified by Mori in your work are to be accepted by posters?

If not, why not?

Cheers,

Sid.

What agressiveness... Just because I offer help... What's wrong? Do you believe you have a "monopoly" or something?

Mori, when a person asks an author to buy his work and you bump in offering to send it free of charge, it's called insolence and piracy. Asking the author "what's wrong" afterwards is called a shameless provocation.

Please (re-)read the forum rules, above all, on civility app.php/rules
