Hello,

I need some detailed informations about warfare in Asiago Italy, end of 1917.
Could somebody has a map from that region at that time?
I would like to find hill called Monte Barycade near Asiago, bacause any traces on any web sites of that hill.

I would be very grateful for your help.

Hello! This is one of two period maps of the area. But I‘m not quite sure you will find the hill in question.

Here is a historical map of that region: http://www.moesslang.net/italienische_forte.htm

But there seems to be no Monte Barycade, it also does not appear in this list of fortifications and emplacements (lots of photos!) in the high plain of Asagio.

Helmut thanks for news, I guess it might be Barricata, Trydent, Italy.
Monte Baricade was written in polish papers, so the name can be a little different.

Found these pictures of Barricata. Seems to have been an important place with some sort of cable lift.
