and the channel islands .... many volunteers even in danmark
why could it not happen in france ?
its also possible look what Etienne Morin and his friends are doing in Dieppe , Valery en Caux etc
also in the first army with the group of Marc Mentel .... many initiativs that work good

Dirk,
I don't say it can't be done.

But if there is no group to do all of this, you can not preserve a bunker !
Thanks,

Wim

Good evening everyone,

On Wednesday, I went to Oldenburg battery to visit the bunkers and to see how the place has changed since the works. Behind them, the place has totally changed : many ponds and vegetation have appeared. No more buildings, except the R 621. They made a little bridge to access to the stairs going up to the the roof of the Turm Ost. But in front of the Turmen, nothing has changed ! I am going to show you all this with some pictures... Many ones were taken on July 20th 2019 (you should guess the date with the weather...) :

Hello

Looks nice. They have respect for the location and the bunkers it seems.

It is also safe to visit now, and allowed to visit?

Regards

Hello everybody,

@Der Bunkermann : Yes, the place has been transformed in a protected area. They.couldn't leave the barracks, unfortunately...

@Moonraker : very nice picture ! What is "L'Étoile" (The Star in english) ? Maybe a part of the building site ?
