Who is this Eichenlaubträger? He was the Luftwaffe representative among a surrender delegation arriving on a British airfield in May 1945.
There are times in history when staying neutral means taking sides.

Thanks, Gregg. Do you (or anybody else) happen to know where this delegation from Norway arrived? It consisted of three white-painted Junkers, one carrying a group of Heer officers, one the Luftwaffe officers and one those from the Kriegsmarine.
P.S. I found it out. The aircraft flew form Stavanger-Sola to RAF Drem on 11 May 1945. The delegations were then apparently taken to Edinburgh Castle and HMS Renown for consultations. As it seems, Ernst Kühl led the Luftwaffe delegation and KzS Gottfried Krüger the KM group. Now I would like to know who the Heer representative was.
