Hi Sturm 78,

that could be the type 650 T or 650 TU. But the vehicle with the loudspeakers could be the type 500 T. Here two pics of the chassis of both types.

Best regards

Bert

Hi Apollo 111,

thank You very much for posting these interesting pics and raising a really good question. On Your first pic is another Büssing-NAG vehicle and it is another travelling exhibition. First it was an exhibition about the "Hitler-Jugend" (have a look on the pic (source: "Das Lastwagen-Album Büssing" by Bernd Regenberg): HJ Zug (Hitlerjugend train), Wanderausstellung (travelling exposition) with the title "Schafft Heime (für die Hitler-Jugend)" (Make homes for the Hitlerjugend). Obviously this vehicle was later used for another exhibition with the title "Hilf mit am Aufbau deiner Heimat" (Help with building Your homeland). And another pic with part of the exhition "Deutsche Leistung im Osten" (with the other Büssing vehicles).

Regards

Bert

Hi Apollo,
Could you please repost your images directly to the thread if possible? I just get broken links.

Apparently there were several such exhibitions in Russia, one of them was in Moscow.

Hi apollo 111,
Thanks for reposting those pics. Very interesting. Here is another shot of the HJ Zug with a different slogan; "Ein Fuhrer-Ein Reich-Eine Jugend":

Thanks for the picture, Max!
The passenger trailer is a nice touch, was it used as a home?
Apparently this is the mount of the haul contractor Paul Schütze from Zwickau. But the number plate looks strange, it doesn't correspond not only Zwickau number plates (which started with Latin number "V") but any period number plate in the Reich. The letters on it are "TU" (as I see them, also repeated on the door). Is it known when and where this picture was shot?
However, it is nice to see both rare birds "parked" together on the same page. :D (Because for certain reasons I think there is the Wiesbadener on the picture with soldiers).
Cheers!
