This, of course, is Günther Lohmann. But I am somewhat confused. When the Luftwaffenfelddivisionen were transferred to the Heer in 1943, their commanders also became Heer officers. Why is he still wearing a Luftwaffe uniform on his 49th birthday in October 1944?
