Movies
Hi everyone,
I'm a big fan of movies and in particular war movies.
I have a list of favorites like:
Saving Private Ryan, Hacksaw Ridge, Fury, Band of Brothers (more a series), Dunkirk en 1917 is amazing.
Note that I like movies, not necessarily documentaries.
Does anyone have recommendations of movies I have to watch? Considering the list I like?
Thank you!!!

Westfront 1918 by Pabst
All quiet on the western front by Lewis milestone
Wooden crosses by Raymond Bernard
All are first world war films and al from 1932 and before but all very well made...
This is just a starter list as there are so many good films out ther
have fun and enjoy

Re: Movies
Try the Russian "The Battle of Moscow" its very long but worth seeing because of the strategic and political staff discussions.
The German " Generation War "
The British "The Battle of Britain "

Re: Movies
The Finnish
"Unknown Soldier"
"Final Defense 1944"
"The winter War"
"Beyond the Front Line"
And a few others. Very realistic about an unknown front. You might even learn some Finnish !

I recommend "When Trumpets Fade" about the battle of the Hurtgen Forest: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/When_Trumpets_Fade
