Making fun of Roosevelt, Churchill, etc. in Germany
I'm doing an article on the terrible threesome - Hitler, Mussolini, and Tojo, as represented in the USA media. I've got lots
of examples of how they were caricatured. Does anyone have caricatures of Churchill, Roosevelt, etc., as they
were made fun of in print in Germany, Italy, or Japan?

Google WWII political cartoons. I have a few books on the subject, but they're out of reach right now.bilboleslie wrote: ↑05 Mar 2020, 03:59I'm doing an article on the terrible threesome - Hitler, Mussolini, and Tojo, as represented in the USA media. I've got lots

Everyone, these are terrific. Thanks for sharing. Curious, but I've never come across any of these originals at militaria shows. Much appreciated.

I saw a two-part Soviet film on Youtube where Stalin is made out to be either God or his anointed son and the actor who plays Churchill clearly based the character on the Nazi poster.

Maybe it was an error and the actor believed he was cast as quasimodo?
The Roosevelt actor is a far more sympathetic character.
