Ummhhh...It is very possible that you are right...It seems that the Canet M1892 used various different mounts....It is difficult to ensure...

Certainly looks as though it could be, though I had never seen such a close up before, but after looking it is very similar to the Noonday gun at Hong Kong as well as a sketch of the 3pdr in French service;

I don't think it's a 3 Pounder (see image) - that had paired recoil cylinders each side of the breech. More likely to be one of the innumerable versions
of the 6 Pounder - the same gun that was used in the Mark I & II tanks.

Hi karlik,

I know the 6inch M1908 howitzer, but this one had a different shield and a more robust trail carriage
About the 4.7in M1908/1912 ....Could be....I could not find information on the net except for some image
