Re: Vehicle identity requests
This little halftrack would make a great quiz subject, but I can't find the answer.

Re: Vehicle identity requests
Hi Markus,
Thanks for that. Do you have any further info on this. Was it a prototype or proof of concept? It looks like a makeshift truck conversion.

Hi Max,
Three prototypes ordered; At least two completed. A wheel-cum-track vehicle so the rear wheel wells were functional part of the time. Sort of like a bigger ADMK Mulus.

Re: Vehicle identity requests
Hi uncle, hi Dirk, hi Richard,
sorry, but this time (#11119) I cannot agree. For me it is not a Renault, rather a Berliet. I have a pic of a similar Berliet truck with much more coincidences than a Renault truck. But I cannot ID this truck. The Berliet truck family is too complicated for me. What do You think?
Best regards
Hi Bert.
Thank you for identifying Berliet.

Re: Vehicle identity requests
Hi Rich,
I don't know about the truck, but the cab certainly looks BENELUX.

Re: Vehicle identity requests
Hi, what kind of truck is in the background? The vehicles belong to 21. Panzer-Division.

Re: Vehicle identity requests
It appears to be a GMC ACK353. The 21st Pz Div was equipped with a lot of ex-French vehicles in 1944 (like the armoured Unic P107 half-track that the saluting soldier is standing in front of) so it is very possible that the truck is one of those supplied to France by the USA on a 1940 contract, many of which were taken over by the Germans after France's defeat.
