Looks like five guns showing, so probably armament for at least two batteries...Sturm78 wrote:15cm SK C28 guns. According to Ebay photo caption, noth front, so I suppose Norway awaiting to be transported and emplaced in his definitive site
There were only four batteries in Norway/Finland with this gun/carriage combination:
* MAB 3./512 Lyngen (guns mounted september 1942)
* MAB 1./517 Kap Romanow (guns mounted september 1942)
* MAB 1./506 Brettingnes (guns mounted october 1942)
* MAB 6./511 Skrolsvik (guns mounted august 1943)
* MAB 5./516 Stranden (guns mounted august 1943)
Considering the battery-locations, either Lyngen and Kap Romanow, or Skrolsvik and Stranden could be possible candidates for these guns?
Note: Post edited, adding MAB 1./517 to the list.

As far as I know, Cap Romanow's guns were mounted in zwillinglafette.na4222 wrote:Are any of these Cap Romanov which had these guns?

I agree with Nezar , the B.Cap Romanov had also single 15 cm S.K.C/28 ( post 131 ) viewtopic.php?f=70&t=161944&start=120
The B. Petsamo II had a twin turret with 15 cm S.K.C/28

Yes, you're right of course (I should have consulted janefs errata for his book). I have edited my original post.
Re: Help Id these heavy coastal guns
Hi all,
I found this image on Ebay. I think that the gun is a ex-French 138mm Mle 1910 reused by Germans as 13.8cm KM10(f).
According to photo caption, in south France. Südwall ??
Used any german battery in Südwall this gun ?
In south France, the batterie Coubre-Ost near Gironde also used these guns in Atlantic coast...

Re: Help Id these heavy coastal guns
Hello Sturm78. Looks B. Cap Couronne near Marseille .
Re: Help Id these heavy coastal guns
Thanks, Jopaerya
This other image is from the same photo serie (Ebay). The gun seems an 10.5cm Erhardt Ubts.u.Tbts.K L45 (Rh).
I suppose that this gun would be used by some batterie near Marseille, also...
I don't have any books about the Südwall to have any reference. Any idea ?
