Re: Italian coast gun
Jos,
The gun looks the same as on Seary's picture here:
viewtopic.php?p=1669313#p1669313
It was identified by ludwig as a 152/50 (Cannone da 152/50 Mod A 1918).

Re: Italian coast gun
Thanks Emmanuel
For the correct name of this gun , this gun was not used in San Remo , the Bat. Mameli in Pegli had the same type of guns.

Re: Italian coast gun
Thanks gents. Any idea whether the gun is in German or Italian use?
Re: Italian coast gun
The Ebay photo looks to me in German service with the M.A.A. 6./619 as B. Pegli I
Re: Italian coast gun
Thank you very much Jos!
Re: Italian coast gun
Hi all,
A very similar gun (but not identical as there are a few differencies in the mount) was identified by ludvig as an 120 /45 Armstrong....

I think really it seems a larger caliber gun...152mm

Re: Italian coast gun
Hi all,
I am not sure about this Italian coastal gun.
Looking the projectile I would say an 152mm gun. 152mm L50 A Mod.1918 or L45 M1911 Armstrong....??
Coastal artillery is usually quite a messy subject....
