Re: Request for Identification of SS-officers
Unidentified SS-Obersturmbannführer with Walther von Reichenau, Barbarossa 1941. Source is on the pic.
Re: Request for Identification of SS-officers
I believe that these LSSAH officers/award ceremony photos have been discussed previously for identities but I cant find them now ? All 3 are from the Kriegsberichter Archive.
The ribbon behind the buttonhole EK2 in the bottom photo is interesting.

That I don't know, I don't care for reenactment photos. I've found the scan in that link that I posted:

And the SS officer beside Morell, looking away from the camera, looks to be Julius Schaub.ttvon wrote: ↑27 Apr 2020, 01:01It is said that they are Paul Lecyewski and Hans WolfAlifRafikKhan wrote: ↑26 Apr 2020, 20:49FLTR: Otto Dietrich, Hans Baur, Adolf Hitler, two unidentified SS officers, Albert Bormann, another unknown, and Theodor Morell. Re: Request for Identification of SS-officers
Max , wrong rank for Julius Schaub further he did not wear the "RfSS" cufftitle rather the main bureau silver cufftitle (type Himmler wore)

I'd be amazed if you can tell his rank from that angle with only the edge of the collar insignia in view! I took the view that it could be just the tips of oakleaf insignia in view from the side, but of course there is no way of knowing. Schaub was attached to the Staff RFSS from 1 December 1936 which entitled him to wear the RFSS cufftitle of course. I am aware that his preference was for the solid silver bullion cuff band, but that does not mean he NEVER wore the RFSS cufftitle to which he was entitled. My ID is based upon the rear of his head, which certainly resembles that of Schaub, but I concede that there is no way of knowing for certain.
Regards,
Max.

Sorry, but my old eyes don't work as well as yours wearing X-ray vision specs.

Re: Request for Identification of SS-officers
This is also what I think , that said from say 1933 onward Schaub even as a SS-Untersturmführer, wears the silver cufftitle , if this is him wearing a "RFSS " its a first for me? for sure there are quite a few pictures of him from this 1936-40 period. But certainly Max your picture archive has far more pictures than mine and I do concede the RFSS staff attachment. thanksttvon wrote: ↑28 Apr 2020, 00:23Look at the pic carefully, Julius Schaub is standing behind Albert BormannMax Williams wrote: ↑27 Apr 2020, 16:40And the SS officer beside Morell, looking away from the camera, looks to be Julius Schaub.ttvon wrote: ↑27 Apr 2020, 01:01It is said that they are Paul Lecyewski and Hans WolfAlifRafikKhan wrote: ↑26 Apr 2020, 20:49FLTR: Otto Dietrich, Hans Baur, Adolf Hitler, two unidentified SS officers, Albert Bormann, another unknown, and Theodor Morell.
