Hi Sturm and all, I answer this post with my hypothesis and two photos from FondazioneAnsaldo site : the carriage and the complete gun without shield. My guess is that it is the 120/50 cannon that Ansaldo produced in 1931/32 for the Turkish Adatepe-Kocatepe class destroyers (2 ships, 4 single pieces per ship). Ansaldo did not make another 120/50 singles until 1939/40, and that was a motorized gun (Ans.'40, as fifth gun for some Regia Marina destroyer). But the photos I found of the ships are unclear and the shield looks slightly different. So I ask for help to find more detailed photos of the cannons on the two ships .

Well, Sturm, in this photo you can clearly see the shape of the shields, which is very similar to that of the shields of the 120/50 Ansaldo 1926 twin guns of Italian Navigatori class destroyers. And then you can glimpse the inside of tower 3 and you can recognize a platform mount and not a pedestal mount.Sturm78 wrote: ↑01 Jun 2020, 10:40Thanks for your answer, shultzshultz wrote

I found on Reddit this image of a Turkish destroyer. Unfortunately, the details of the guns are not very clear
