Re: Request for Identification of SS-officers
Hello
Graveland and HM many thanks for your efforts in identifying these men. At this time I am trying to identify all Officers, Officials of all the German services andall Dutch officers of the various branches of the NSB, Legion etc during this funeral on 10.02.1943. This is not an easy task, as my expertise does NOT lie with the german officers/officials in the Netherlands.
I have included another still from the film. The same men are visible but the hitherto unidentified Man in row 2 is in better view
Many thanks and best regards
Nico

@NicoH
I would say the unidentified man in row 2 is Friedrich Wimmer.

Re: Request for Identification of SS-officers
Since the right:
1) SS Obergruppenführer und General der Waffen SS Karl Maria Demelhuber. he was Commander in several Armeekorps.
2) SS Gruppenführer Hanns Albin Rauter, Higher SS and Police Leader in Den Haag
3) Reichcomissioner in the Netherlands Arthur Seyss-Inquart
Best,

Re: Request for Identification of SS-officers
Hello
thanks to all for helping me in the case of the group photo's at the Funeral of General Seijffardt. The help is highly appreciated!!
I have however another question on a photograph showing JH Feldmeijer (Leader of Dutch SS/Germanic SS in the Netherlands), apparently during a visit to Germany in 1941.
Photo show (from left to right) Unknown SS/SD officer, JH Feldmeijer, unknown, and Flemish SS-Onderstormleider Raf van Hulse.
The questions are simple:
Who are the 2 unknown men? The SD man seems to be an SS-Obersturmbannführer with a "Alte Kämpfer Chevron". The other is totally unknown.
Where was this picture taken, on what occassion etc?
Thank you already and best regards

Re: Request for Identification of SS-officers
Agree with Max, re: Rösener and Martin. Note Rösener's armband denoting his assignment as Referent für öffentlicher Verkehr und Parkplätze (Advisor for public traffic and parking) in the Organisationsleitung der 6. Reichsparteitag der NSDAP in Nürnberg (08.09.1936-14.09.1936). Martin was promoted to SS-Obersturmbannführer during this event (13.09.1936).
In the background at left, in SA uniform, is Oberbürgermeister Willy Liebel.
