Hello Christian,
Well it's not an American car but it is a Ford. A 1937 German Ford V8 Special Kabriolet built in Köln.

Hello Max,
thank you very much for your reply. May i ask why it is special? (Special engine, special built upper body (e.g. built by Gläser) or just because it is a Kabriolet)

Hi Christian,
Good question. AFAIK "Spezial" was a term dreamed up by the marketing dept. and applied to certain models with upgraded trim e.g. fender skirts. The engines were all the same V-8's.
