Polish pre-WWII borders and elections results.

This has been recurring since fall of communism in 1989.
Election results map seem to look near identical to post-1795 borders. Voting for one candidate/party seems to cover "Russian and AH empires" part. Opposition to the above covers "Prussia" part. This is clearly visible on still unofficial at the moment map of latest elections here:

What I find interesting is that there was no significant Polish population presence (with some local exceptions) in most of the "Prussia" part. As I understand these are mostly descendants of people moved from the Eastern Polish territories lost after 1945 (under Russian empire post-1795). So why descendants of these people vote differently to descendants of people in Eastern Poland who remained there?

Well, I could go over there and ask, I suppose; but at the moment I can't even leave a town! :D

One possibility is that the experience of being uprooted caused the Poles in the Recovered Territories to have different political views in comparison to the Poles in the rest of Poland. This is also evident in regards to various other metrics, for the record:

Transferees from the former Eastern Polish Territories did not form the majority of transferees . It is 27,7% compared with people from the rest of pre-WWII Poland: 48.8%. The "rest of pre-WWII Poland" also includes parts of Prussian occupied Poland.

You should always vote for stability. Trzaskowski, because of the veto power, would lead to a dysfunctional system of government in Poland.

There is nothing wrong with them.
In modern times the same-sex sexual activity was always allowed in Poland (for comparison only since 1968 in Germany, anti-sodomy laws still exist in many US states.)

According to the Constitution: marriage, being a union of a man and a woman ... shall be placed under the protection and care of the Republic of Poland, and that is not going to change, nobody has the votes to do it.
The liberals and their communist allies put it there; now they reap what they sow.

In the US, anti-sodomy laws are no longer in force since Lawrence v. Texas (2003). So, for the last 17 years, anti-sodomy laws in the US are no longer enforceable due to them being unconstitutional.

How much votes does it take to change the Polish Constitution?

Also, I think that an issue is that the Polish President (Andrzej Duda) was making LGBT people feel extremely unwelcome by equating LGBT "ideology" to Communist ideology.

They need a 2/3 vote.

During election campaigns, politicians say lots of things.
And LGBT ideology has nothing to do with LGBT people. It's a collection of unscientific claims (50 genders), demands for (early) LGBT sexual education, and privileges rejected by Christianity and Judaism.

How early education are we talking about here and also what privileges are we talking about here?

As for a 2/3 vote in the Polish parliament, Yeah, that might take a while to occur. Maybe several decades or so.

Sex ed in kindergarten.
Same-sex marriage, LGBT adoption - both forbidden by Torah and Talmud.

Is Poland actually a theocracy, though?

BTW, liberal Jews have moved in favor of same-sex marriage in recent years.

Errm, sorry, but what do the last 6 posts have to do with the subject in hand?

BTW - re above chart - wasn't the UK still in the EU in 2018?

Regarding the original topic - it is always dangerous to look for single explanations for multi-factorial phenomena.....
