Hi Max, hi Rich,

very good! You are both right. Max was a little bit faster. So it is Your turn to go on with the quiz. You have control.

Best regards

Bert

Hey Max
Seconds certainly do count playing against you guys - LOL. Not real good with uniforms but look Polish/Czech to me. Looks like they are collecting rifles ?

Oh by the way that's a Faun L1500 - I saw that Faun badge peeking out :D

Thanks
Rich

Hello all,
I think perhaps the uniforms are Estonian,
Kerry.

Hi Rich,
Good job, you got it. I didn't realize I had left part of the badge hanging out there but I suspect you or one of our colleagues would have called it in short order anyway. It's a pretty distinctive vehicle.
So over to you again, and next time I'll make sure not to forget to check Russian trucks. :)
Cheers,
Max

Thanks, Kerry.
I don't believe I've ever seen Estonian troops in their national uniform before.

Max

Hi Bert
Yes it is Zis-5 in Finnish service. My info on the photo says the cab is from a Volvo but I haven't been able to ID what model.
Hi Rich,
Bert is right: this is a domestic Sisu cab, fitted in that country almost to anything up to 2 tons load capacity.
Here is just one example with Citroen 45 (postwar pic):

Hi ilfil,
Interesting information, thank you. It goes to help identify some of my photos.
I have, however, one observation. You say these cabs were fitted to anything up to 2 tonnes, but the illustrated Citroen was of 4.5 tonne capacity.
Cheers,
Kerry.

Hi Kerry,
Sorry for the mistake I made in a hurry. Don't kill me, please! After all, English isn't my native language.
I wanted to write "2 tonnes AND UP".
Sorry again.
Cheers!

Hey, no problem, just puzzled, and the new information was the most important part.
Cheers,
Kerry
