Hello, what if the government under Karl Dönitz tried to initiate a greater evacuation than Operation Hannibal during the May days in 1945 to save the men trapped in the Kurland Pocket from the Soviets. Would this be possible?

Hi

Well anything was possible but at what cost?
As it was, the KM was using almost every available means to initiate the evacuation and its hard to envisage what else they could EFFECTIVELY do!
Its pointless getting the evacuess onto a ship/boat, if you then cant protect it on its journey.
