Re: 1945 Lost German girl
Thank you very much billbird2111 for your comment, the work that was done here the people on the forum is excellent, mine was to contribute a little more, unfortunately there is little that can be added to find the identity of that young woman, in the last time I have looked everywhere and bothered people, historians, etc. but without results, here great debates were achieved but everything is said and written, they were still looking
Cheers

Re: 1945 Lost German girl
Wait, so the entire story I heard about her ID as Lore Bauer from Austria is incorrect? It’s all fiction?CarlosXander wrote: ↑04 Dec 2020, 02:20Thank you very much billbird2111 for your comment, the work that was done here the people on the forum is excellent, mine was to contribute a little more, unfortunately there is little that can be added to find the identity of that young woman, in the last time I have looked everywhere and bothered people, historians, etc. but without results, here great debates were achieved but everything is said and written, they were still looking

Re: 1945 Lost German girl
unfortunately there is no evidence that that is his name, recently a person asked the same thing
viewtopic.php?f=77&t=145596&start=2235
Personally, I would like that to be her identity and what happened later with her, but the person who uploaded her name to date has not provided evidence
Cheers

Thus I would NOT post "On August 30, 2014 in the Axis History Forum an individual named Carsten Bergman WHO WORKS AT THE National Institute on Geneological Research " in the blog, but that´s my personal opinion.
I don´t believe a single word from his post.
Or like "LostGermangirls-Grandson", who posted on April 9th 2013 (!):

Re: 1945 Lost German girl
Hello everybody,
I live in the area where some of the shots of the footage were taken. Most of the film is from the road #605 that is heading from Prague to Pilsen (Czexh Republic) and further to Germany.
The exact places are between towns as Karez - Myto - Holoubkov - Rokycany. BTW, in Rokycany was captured K.H.Frank when he was tring to escape to Germany.
The shots with German girl are from the road which goes up to the hill just nearby Ejpovice willage. There was established "zajatecký tábor-prisoner camp on the top of the hill:
49°44'38.2"N 13°32'39.5"E

You can see a milestone with number 78 behind the girl. This number gives a distance in kilometers from Prague where the road #605 starts. So, milestones on the road are numbered from zero from Prague and it gives us another proof that Ejpovice is the right place.
I made comparism of some shots from footage and today for you.
I try to give you more complex info about this particular part of history later on.

Re: 1945 Lost German girl
Hello forum
Here are some videos of the German prisoners in the camps in Germany more specifically in Ragensbur where you can also see the female prisoners that it is very likely that LGG is there, I could not find the complete video, in the first video you can see the known LGG filming and in the second the conditions that they were obviously much better than men
Cheers

Re: 1945 Lost German girl
Dear forum
Here I found a video of how the German prisoners were identified in Czechoslovakia before being taken to Germany to the detention camp (4:10 minutes), it is the town of Konstantinovy Lázně unfortunately there is no filming of the Rockcany / Ejpovice camp where LGG was but it shows how it was identified, which is why somewhere is the LGG ID
Cheers

Re: 1945 Lost German girl
I see that there is a whole topic spend on the lost German girl I have been reading some of the post.
My own curiosity started a couple of days ago when I saw a clip of this beat up attractive German girl that was walking so lost on that road.
Somehow it realy hit me seeing this girl in her condition
So there is no conclusion if it is Lara Bauer yet?

Re: 1945 Lost German girl
Excellent contribution kupamon,
Re: 1945 Lost German girl
OK I'm probably going way WAY too far out on a limb here, but does anyone else think that the girl on the left here MIGHT be LGG? I see similarities in the eyes and nose. I'm probably wrong and happy to be proven so, but gee, maybe...
Check them out side by side.

Re: 1945 Lost German girl
I don’t remember seeing LGG sitting on the ground holding what seems to be a clothe to her eye. Has this been reviewed before?
