Hi, I'm new to the forum. After performing a search, I didn't find any info about a question that interests me: was the 12th SS responsible for any war crimes in the Battle of the Bulge? I'm not implying they were, I haven't found any infomation overall about it so just wonder.....

The West German police did not investigate 12 SS HJ for war crimes in the Ardennes campaign of 44-45.
They did investigate SS-Panzer Aufklärungs-Abt I (LSSAH) for shootings at Stavelot/Ardennes, 44-45. No trial.

The case was eventually dropped because all suspects had already served time in Belgium.
