Recommended reading - Naval espionage and spec-ops in the Med and neighbouring seas?
I'm looking for anything (written/translated in english) that focuses on naval espionage or special-operations in the Mediterranean during WW2 (my interest also extends to seas in the vicinity like the Aegean, Adriatic, and Black Sea). I'm interested in stuff from both the Allied and Axis sides.
I've already got the book Secret Flotillas Volume II: Clandestine Sea Operations in the Western Mediterranean, North African & the Adriatic 1940-1944.

Brilliant, the RSI Navy is a topic which in general I'd like to read more about, thanks.DrG wrote: ↑02 Jan 2021, 04:25"Black Phoenix" by Enrico Cernuschi and Vincent P. 'The Deceivers' by Holt has a few chapters on deception ops in the Mediterranean theatre. The book is a 800+ page catalogs of deception operations, so not super depth on the ops, but enough to understand what the Brits were up on this for the course of the war. There was a lot more than is popularly understood & from 1942 it was closely aligned with Allied strategy and operations.
