In this context, a joke (made undoubtedly only half-jestingly), that the Palace of Culture in Warsaw was God's punishment for the demolition of the Warsaw Russian Orthodox Cathedral after Poland regained independence in 1918, may give pause. For the record I am not comparing Nazism to the Orthodox religion, rather that a hated symbol of secular power may be attached to a place of worship and/or reverence, that transcends human squabbles and that at least some folk consider we interfere with at our peril.......

It also sets a precedent that families of fallen US servicemen buried abroad may have yet cause to regret in the future.

Yet another reason intelligent life never comes here.
Is there a specific objection you have?

I agree that in the scheme of things this is no issue worth hand-wringing.
"Woke tards" running amok
I prefer considering the ideas to labeling them.

Hi OpanaPointer

When you boil it down to essentials it is always about one or both of two things:

1) Fear
2) Economics (in its widest sense)

and the two are in any event, inextricably intertwined.

Everything else is window dressing.

Bestest and happy New Year to all!
